Default Unused/"secret" storage space

If you open the cover to your spare tire well, as you should periodically to check the air pressure in said spare, you will notice that there is considerable unused space in the spare's wheel. I have a set of jumper cables, a bottle of amsoil, some rags, torque wrench for wheels, etc. in there. With so little storage space in the S2000, this is a welcome extra spot for things you don't use often, but want to have along.

You may also want to throw in some latex gloves and some trash bags - in case you have to change your tire, there's no need to get road grime all over your hands and the trunk.

That space is a great place to keep small tools, etc. You can pack the area pretty full, as long as the little floor section still fits back on it. I recommend a few cotton rags, which serve for rattle reduction, without taking up much space and are useful if hands get greasy. As for condom storage, I will have to ask my wife on that one. She might just be a tad suspicious.

I always found that the best way to utilize this space was to move the tools on top of the spare and then remove the tool "tray". The extra depth in the trunk well makes a HUGE difference.
