OP - instead of listening to other people, just go out for a test drive and see for yourself - this decision is completely one of personal preference

Yeah, the Evo and the S2000 make a great pair. The Evo you just leave in any gear and it goes. It's also so easy to drive fast ,my mother could win at Laguna Seca. I just sent the ecu off to be flashed. 380 hp just with a flash. But the Honda is, in many ways, more rewarding to drive fast. It's more nervous at the limit, but you can drift the rear end. Next to impossible with the Evo. And the change from Jekyl to Hyde is addicting when you hit 6,000. I've done rollons with many, many cars over the years, from 60 mph and up. Just drop to third gear. It has yet to be beaten. Boxster and Boxster S, 911's, many Corvettes, SVT Mustangs, Z cars, BMW Z4's, even the M3's, and a couple of AMG Mercedes. You have to start at 7500 to run with the big boys, but if you are--and if you jump first--they will not pass you up to 150 mph.

9K RPM FTW. Why get rid of an 00 with only 13k miles and have to throw in another $10k or more to pick up a new one?

I'd rather have a paid off (or close to) '00 than a '07 and a car payment.
If you like the styling of the AP2, you can always update your current bumpers, tailights, wheels, even softtop...
If you do keep the '00 you might also want to consider switching to a '02-03 ECU to gain a few ponies.

You should sell the MY00 and not get another. Come-on, 13K,you're not even driving it. The EVO sounds like it's plenty of car anyway...

You can sell me your car for like $10k, since I got my S stolen just a few days ago.

The '02-03 ECU runs a little more lean and the '00-01 ECU is more rich. This allows the newer ECUs to output a little more power.
