Get the s. Insurance will probably be the same because look how much you'll save a month for the payment. Do u wanna pay $4xx a month for a civic. my brother got a new civic and I got my '02 with 19,000 miles for the same money.

Do you have experience with driving rwd cars near the performance of the s2k? Do be careful...the high insurance rate is partly because of all the single car accidents...this car can bite hard.

If I had my current car when I was 17, I wouldn't be here today.

s2000 ftmfw! you wont regret it. i got it when i was 19. screw insurance rates dude. i love the part where you can ditch out people who ask for free rides you save money A. from the cost of the s2000 vs cost of civic, B you wont have to pay gas for people asking for free rides. DONT give free rides! people will bum offa you for like eternity... plus they dont give a shit about your car so you get scratches galooooore and crap all over the inside of your car!
+1 to whoever said that s2000 is just for you and your gf!
