If your really interested in this top, tell the guy to pull the L/R side catchers off his car and include them with the deal.
At $500 bucks for this must have part, the deal your looking at may not be as good as it looks.
If he refuses, subtract the $500 from the total price and this should be your offer.

I agree with this. If he is getting rid of the hardtop for good, there's no need to keep this piece. It's just added weight sitting on the side of the car. He should give it to you bcause it's a very expensive piece for some unknown reason and it's absolutely necessary to install the hardtop.

As mentioned above, you will need:
1. Hardtop
2. Two side catchers and extended bolts
3. Harness for the defroster (depending on the year, there are up to 3 different ones you could use).
4. Strikers for the hardtop. I believe if you have a newer S2000, you can use your softop ones.
