William,
I am pretty sure from the picture that your rear spoiler is OEM... is your front also OEM? If not, what brand & where did you get it? I am getting ready to add front and rear spoilers to my car... I am pretty sure that I like the OEM rear, but am looking at some alternatives too. I like Backyard Special... but I have not seen any good resolution pics of this spoiler and I am curios as to how good the paint match-up is?

Does anyone have a pic of a spa yellow with the tape off? I am pretty sure I want to remove mine, however I have not seen any yellow's with it gone. Thanks in advance!

I stand corrected...thank you. According to my friend in Tochigi indeed the 2002 Oceania/UK models are without tape. Now I need to wait for to answer if 2002 US or JDM's are taped or not . Thanks for keeping the board straight....my mistake.

Note: MY 00 and MY 01's are taped down under.....

Found these pics of Spa Yellows without the tape on s2ki, there may be other good ones. Don't think I like it without the tape.

I need to take a close look at mine but I'm going with the idea it is the same tape used around the door window frame on most other models.
The scuffing is done to remove any imperfections that would show through.
It's an easy way to "paint" the window frame black.

Somewhere in La La Land they make the decisions about what we like.

Wow, reviving a thread from the dead. Almost three years since the last post.
