I wouldn't be too worried, how often are you going to be going that fast?

 

I drive in km/h ... always freaks out my passengers ...

 

Unless you get caught in the wrong gear, 120 should come pretty quickly. Slight incline don't matter much.

 

I've hit 155 with the top up and one passenger.. it didn't struggle too much until maybe 140.

 

My car maxed out on a slight uphill incline at 136-140mph with a passenger weighing about 160lbs, I myself am around 180-190. My top was also down. I am awaiting a chance to get up to 150 with the top up, I am not so sure the car will be able to do it with the top down, but who knows could have just been the incline that stopped me.

 

I do feel that the S is a little slow to get up to its top speed.
(I also have a Turbo II RX7 highly modified)

As for around town, It doesn't really feel as if its underpowered at all.

I normally find myself ahead of traffic from a stop only taking the tach to 4K.
But I can tell that traffic does seem to driv faster around my car.
