Since you're doing shows I didn't mention any used parts, but you could possibly find some used parts that would work for shows. There are a few more little components that could get you points depending what kidn of show you're in, mainly chassis braces. Good luck in the show circuit, sorry if the list is too long!

Ditto on the wax. Go online and get a package deal from someone like autogeek. Good quality cleaning and wax products are not cheap.

There seems to be many people who do not know how to install these units properly. So I am going to try and explain them here in this thread:
Each Krank Vent Mini Kit comes with two units that go inline with the PCV hose and crankcase breather
Just take the existing hose and place the krank vents here:
Note that the fatter one goes on the crankcase breather side and the narrower one goes on the PCV side.
You should put the krank vents in your mouth and on one end, blow through it. Stay on the driver side fender facing the passenger side fender. You are essentially pretending you are the intake manifold. You should NOT be able to blow air towards the engine this way. If you can blow air through it, just flip it around and then install it. This is the same for both PCV and crankcase breather krank vents.
Snip the hose and install the krank vents in the proper direction. Tighten on the supplied hose clamps and you are done.
For those with a catch can:
If you have a catch can, you must place the krank vent in the hose that goes immediately out from the crankcase. In this order: crankcase valve cover hole ----> Catch can ---> Krank Vent --> Vacuum
You may also just have a breather filter instead of connecting it back directly to a vaccum source -- for the crankcase breather side one...the PCV side needs to be connected to the intake manifold for a vaccum source at all times.
