Default Small problems......what the hell?

Guys,

I've noticed two weird problems with my car lately.

1. When I turn on the A/C and start driving the car - I hear this whine that increases in intensity WITH the engine revs. This eventually dies away but what the heck is this?!

2. There is radiator (blue) fluid splash under my hood and I cna't seem to find anything....seems to be on the driver's side - right around the shock tower - around the alternator and around the throttle body.....anybody else have this problem?

Thanks!

John

1. Have you had any stereo work on your car lately? It sounds that you are getting some sort of "grounding" noise from an amp or a stereo/speaker.

2. As far as the radiator fluid...it is not blue. You are most likely talking about windshield wiper fluid, which, if the car is driven around corners (specially if you went for a fun run) then you will shake the tank enough that some of that fluid can come out ...

Take pics of # 2 for sure and someone should be able to point you in the right direction...

If you are looking from the top then it kinda look like green but when you plush it then the true color is like blueish-green, and so green or blue both are correct depend on how you are looking at it

I have a brand new container of Honda Longlife typeII 50/50 Coolant, and it is blue.

You haven't recently changed out your intake have you ?

But come to think about it, I may have had the same splashes when I first bought my car.
But if your car is splashing coolant, you'll smell it in the engine bay.
