Default smoke coming out of my vents?

on sunday i noticed some smoke coming out of my AC vents. i had just exited off the freeway, and i turned the AC on when i came to a stoplight. it was about 90 degrees, and i had been on the fwy for about 30 miles.

my car only has 2200 miles am i paranoid or is something wrong? it's running fine but ive never seen smoke in any of my other cars.

Does it smell like smoke? Chances are it is just water vapor from high humidity. Let it run for awhile and then run your finger along the a/c vent. Were there water droplets on it? If so, that is pretty normal.

If it is in fact smoke, you *might* have a problem

This is my first summer with the car and I've noticed the same thing almost every morning this summer. I think it's just water vapor. I assume it's normal.

The real solution is to put the top down and turn off the AC.

Or leave the top down AND leave the AC on.

Mine does that too when I let go of the gas. It's water vapor. The air coming out seems warmer too, for maybe a few seconds, then the AC kicks on again and the water vapor disappears.

Happened in my jetta too, so I assume it's normal.

I was woried about that also! I made the exact same post a couple weeks ago but got no responses. It comes out like smoke when your'e accelerating but it smells like a dirty water-a/c vapor. I knew it wasn't actually smoke but some kind of vapor, but my question is: is this harmful to the car in any way? or is this a sympton that something in the a/c needs to be fixed/added/replaced?

It's normal. Don't worry about it. A lot of cars do it.

I pretty much figured all cars did it under the right conditions. I think the AC has to be good and cold though. Converted R12 systems need not apply.
