Just remember, I'm the one behind you (the non-smoker), swirving so that your cigarette doesn't fly into my Miata with the top down! (that is, if you dispose of the cigarette outside your car as well)

I always say I won't smoke in my new car. With this one I sparked up after the first turn. It's a bad habit but what can I say?

Nope... never in any of my cars nor inside my apartment. Call me crazy 'cause I do enjoy a cigarette but I just can't stand the smell of stale smoke through my clothes, my house, my car etc...

If you smoke, please, please, please don't toss the butt. I ride a bike and I swear one of these days I'm going to catch one and pull up beside that inconsiderate driver and flick it back. Cigars really burn. I'm not even going to talk about all the other stuff people flick out the window. I'm going to start carrying a tube of stale biscuits.

When I was about 20 I had a couple of Datsun Fairladys (the convertables ones from the 60's) that I used to try and keep on the road (hence having two - better odds).

I'm at a set of lights and these builders show up in their truck and flick a but out the window. It lands on my windshield wiper. The guy's just grinning at me. I knew the light was about to go green so I stood up, reached over the windscreen, picked up the but and flicked it back in the cabin. All I could hear was swearing as I pulled away from the lights with a satified grin on my face

Aus, that's awesome! I've had butts thrown out of cars and had it hit my car, and I wasn't too happy about it, so I tailed the guy for a little bit to piss him off. Good thing I was anticipating his braking, we were going about 40 off a highway exit...I had bags on the passenger seat and they flew forward (I did this in a Bonneville). I was kinda lucky on that one. Smoking is a personal choice, as much as I might dislike it, but when you throw a butt out the window, that's disrespectful, cause it does hit cars. Just MO.
