At least some were objective and not just joking about the rice pot.

That link's homepage was painful to navigate...about as much fun to visit as a trip to the dentist. Nice enough cars though. The newbies anyway.

I hate forums based on that type of application (whatever it is). More than half the posts are nothing but a subject line followed by (nt). It seems so lazy. I have the same problem with the audiworld forum. It gets really annoying to navigate it. VBulletin is so much better!

yeah.. alot of those bmw ppl on that forum are real dicks... but just the same there are also alot of helpfull people there as well...

I saw some mixed responses. Some haters, some who respect that not all people want the same thing in a car and that the S2k does have something it brings to the table.

Anyway, IMHO, I'd buy an M3 if I could afford one (well, or a Z06 :-) ). But bang/buck I think the S2k does have the advantage - and as some of you know, I'm not very big on promoting the S2000.

I'm not going to diss anyone because I know an M3 owner and he's cool. Just remind BMW, Porsche, Toyota, and now Chevrolet (Trailblazer) owners who invented variable timing.
