Kind of ironic, because you guys saying "She likes the car for appearance" and "I bet her daddy bought it" are being quite condescending in your comments as well.

 

IMO, good looking women have it tough.

Men are always hitting on them, and this changes the way they look at the world, I think. For example, I smile and say hello to everyone I pass when I'm out walking. When the person I'm greeting happens to be an attractive woman, her reaction is often to scowl and look away. Obviously, she's assuming it's a pickup attempt and she's letting me know she wants no part of it. I'd guess that Scot's experience fits into the same category. She assumed it was about her, and never noticed the car.

This is rather sad. Women who react this way are seeing their looks as the driving force behind all human interaction with them. What a drag that must be.

I disagree.. I've known lots of beautiful women with their head on straight. Every one of them always told me they couldn't get a date because men were intimidated by their looks. Ever heard the saying," Why do the ugly guys get the georgous women". It's because most men are afraid to approach them. Maybe I'm spoiled by Texas girls, but I've had very few interactions such as described. Hmmm maybe I have a secret!
