So I really want a factory lip...
It's just a matter of perception. Something that you have to get used to. I've had mine (with lip) for going on 3 years now...and not scraped it once.
Takes a conscious effort at first, but you should be able to adjust. The hood is long, longer than you think behind the wheel. When you park, just stop shorter than what you think you need to. Remember how that looks & feels behind the wheel. Then practice it, every time. Should become second nature after a while.

There are zero issues with the oem lip on a stock height car. It looks great. The best tip is to not pull up as far as you think into parking spots. Our car is very short and you'd be surprised how much room you have.

Be careful after you learn to stop short. I did not realize once that the parking space I was in had a downhill slant to the curb. I parked short of the curb, but when I went to start the car, I pushed the clutch in and rolled in to the curb.

Backing into spots is 10x easier in this car, my trick is to open the door and look out the side Lambo-style to make sure I'm lining up with the lines perfectly
.
Regardless, you shouldn't have problems with the lip even on a lowered car. Mine is scraped up underneath but there are no visible scrapes even from parking blocks.

You really have to think about parking in a low car like the S! Especially if you're lowered.
I back in when easy/convenient. Someone mentioned that being pretentious, but I don't think anybody really cares!
Also, the S is relatively small. You can stop way sort of the curb and still be pulled +way+ into the spot (this took me a little while to get used to).
Finally, I did scratch up the lower front of my OEM fascia (didn't have a lip at the time), so I scored a new Honda lip (which perfectly covered it up!) and at the same time installed this:
