Default So whats the "top Speed" ?

So pretty straightforward question, it has probably been asked and answered a million time before but i am just simply too lazy to use the search bar lolz. What is the top speed of a completely bone stock 2004 AP2, given the road conditions are perfect, and if i ever try to go top speed it will be on a closed course.... >.>

Here is a video of an AP2 hitting 255kph (158mph) on a dyno:

As for AP1's, I have seen several videos on youtube of near stock AP1's hitting around 270kph (167MPH)

here is one example:

I would not recommend trying this on public roads.

Strictly by the numbers using gear ratios and tire rotations per mile of the stock tires, the AP2 reaches:

152.85 mph at 8000 rpm; 156.67 mph at 8200 rpm.

Of course, if one uses different tires, one will achieve slightly different speeds while reading the same speeds, because the speedometer provides a speed reading based on revolutions somewhere along the drivetrain.

GPS anyone?

Redline in 6th gear. I think the book (OM?) states this is 147mph. Due to speedo error this could be a little more o less.
