Default Soft top adjustment

Anyone know who to adjust the top latch so it will make a tighter seal. I can hear wind over the driver side latch and if I press on it just a little bit it seals and the noise goes away.

The latches that secure the top are worn, this is a known problem on the earlier cars. This is the part on the windshield frame , not the top. Mine were replaced under warrantee. If you look at the striker you will see the metal is worn away where the hook grabs of contacts it. A temp fix is to take a small piece (3/4" long) of rubber hose like 3/16" ID soft vacuum line and slip it over the hook on the top. This takes up the gap and will compress a bit if needed. The wind noise drove me nuts till I did this.

it means there is a search bar in the top right hand corner

a simple search of "adjust top" reveals this thread 5 topics down.

I slotted the holes on the bracket attached to the top, and then moved them forward until i adjusted it where i liked it. This is what worked for me. May not be suitable for everyone.
