Default Soft top installing

I need your opinion which is easier. To install new fabric soft top? Or buy one with the frame already and install it? Let me know. Thanks

Depends who's doing it. Removing frame was like 2 hours for someone who did it for me. Add another 2-3 hours and you're done. I'm not sure of the process of replacing fabric but seems hard and should be done by someone who's done it more than a few times

Are OEM roofs available on OEM frames? Isn't there a bunch of motors and wiring on these frames? Just curious, my roof is holding up well.

Im pretty sure he's thinking about buying a used one in good condition. I see them pop up all the time with the frame for $500 ish which is about the price of the fabric alone if you buy it new

My thoughts, if its anything like, say, buying a fender, you'd need to 'fit' it to the car anyway. Its not like you just bolt the whole mess on, and save yourself having to deal with fitting the fabric.

So I say just buy a new fabric top, and either follow the diy, preferably with assistance from someone that did it before, or pay to have it installed.
