I never had that problem, but i only drove it in the rain twice.
And never opened the passenger side door.

I think there a drain duct there....if you see the water flows over the top of the side windows when you drive....

So when you stop...the water will drop from that duct....

But dont forget to grease the joints.....it helps

I guess shin-etsu grease it is! I'll have to pick some up and get by until I get my hard top on.

i had that problem yesterday. i hopped in, went backwards, and all this water came down on my sleves..... grrrr

Any firm resolution to this problem as its driving me mad, getting soaked every time it rains and i accelerate or brake !

I'm glad I am not the only one with this problem. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where it's coming from, think I found it though. There appears to be a little channel that collects water and whenever I accelerate forward or backward or put the top down, all the water comes draining out. Was thinking about using some aquarium sealant, maybe keep the water from being collected in the first place... what ya think?
