There's a good writeup on here about how to do it, if you want to try it yourself.

When I replaced mine, I had a guy that had done many. we finished in 4-5 hours. I helped him, and next time (if there is one) I'm going to do it myself. If you use common sense and wrench on your own at all, it's not that hard.

Removing/re-installing practically all the interior is the most time consuming part.

You will need rivet/rivet gun, contact cement, and normal tools.

This is where I bought mine:

https://www.topsonline.com/model/Con...nda_S2000.html

I went with the Robbins Stayfast Cloth top and couldn't be happier

OEM is the vinyl so you would go with the Twillweave.

Good luck.

If you actually want a Honda top, the best price (with shipping) I found was at Majestic Honda in RI. I've dealt with them quite a few times over the years and have no complaints.
As I mentioned earlier, I've decided to give the Robbins cloth a shot -- the price of the OEM vinyl is about $250 more then the Robbins cloth (from Tops Online).

I've been giving some serious thought to doing it myself. I've got the tools, OEM service manual, and some experience removing panels and seats, but never a top. My regular car guy has someone who works at a tops place for a living and is willing to install my top as a side job. Once my top arrives I'll see what he is gong to charge and when he can do it, then I'll decide.

Appreciate your input - thanks.

My 02 with 23K miles still looks like new. Anyone have strips of velcro come out from around the window? What are they for anyway?

Advice to anyone looking to replace their top with non-OEM: buy Robbins. I have Sierra Top and while the material is the same as Robbins, the fit is not quite there.

No prob, If we didn't live so far apart, I'd help you do it. It's not hard if you're mechanically inclined.

Looks like it's going to be awhile before I see the top I ordered. Got a call from Tops Online today that said the "Robbins machine broke down" and it won't be till the the first week in September before it ships. Ugh.
They offered the Ez On as a substitute, but I declined.

You don't want to drive to Queens??

Top was less that $500 and still looks like new and is over 3 years old.

Car is garaged.
Where did you get a Robbins top for less than $500?
