Default Soft top up, rattle?

Is anyone else experiencing some rattling coming from the passenger side when the soft top is up? When I'm going 30-40 on a bumpy road, I hear a rattle. I'm thinking it's the latch for the soft top on the passenger side but when I feel it, it's pretty solid. Then I thought it was the seat. Maybe it is.. I don't know....

I get that rattle too at times. Has to do with the latch like you mentioned. It only lasts for a little while and then goes away. Mine is due to the colder morning tempatures, not sure why yours is occuring.

I wish it was that simple. Fall and winter coming up.

I"m going to try and see if there is anything to tighten.

There are so many rattles in my car...I don't think I could pick out just one. Though, an easy elimination of one of the major ones is to buckle the passenger seat belt. Otherwise, mine rattles like crazy.

Also, how does the colder temperature affect the latch?

The vinyl top contracts, "pulling" the latch and increasing the tension on it.

There are a ton of rattles in the car. Random buzz from the steering wheel, seatbelts hitting the side trim, loose s**t in the compartments, my seat is reclined in such a way that it rubs the roll bar hoops (not in my 08, but in my 05 that had the plastic trim on the headrest)

I'm yet to have rattles in the top latch areas, but I guess my car is fairly new. But I keep the latches lubricated, and my seals get shin-etsu love every 3 months.

My car has developed so many rattles and other noises that I just turn the volume up on my radio to drown it out.
