Default Softtop wind noise

Ive read the posts about the wind noise. Mine is really bad now... Ive noticed the top doesnt shut completely leaving a slight gap across the top of the windframe and it appears the hooks have some slight play in them when latched to the windframe. So I want to try and get some of the quarter inch aquarium tubing but Im not quite sure where I should look to get it. Should I go to a good pet store where they sell aquariums and fish or should I go to Home Depot? If this doesnt work Im going to get the strikers and replace them. I really hope it seals the gap across the top.

Your situation sounds like you are beyond the tubing fix. You can still try it anyways because it's so cheap. Any hardware store in the plumbing dept has it or your local pet store. A foot of it runs around a quarter. gl

My local aquarium shop's tubing was either too small (airline tubing), or too big (filter tubes).

Fortunately I have an industrial liquidator right by work and he had the in between sizes by the foot - and we only need less than a foot. Now I have enough to last a long time.

If you can't find it in your neck of the woods let me know and I'll send you some.
