Default Sold my S2000 today

Well, I sold my 2001 S2000 today. I had it for 2 summers...enjoyed every minute with it. It is an awesome car... and it is sad to see it go. My wife and I are having our first child in 2 more months, I only have a 2 car garage, and did not feel like dealing with the hassles the summer only s2k was going to bring. I want to get a 4door car that is more practical then the s2000. So now, I am going to save a bit more cash and perhaps goto to the USA to buy a G37x. They are dirt cheap in the USA... as are the s2000s (mine came from texas).

Man, are you crazydude? Life has its priorities and the G37x is a pretty sweet car IMO.

Congrats on the first child and props for having your priorities in order. I've been through the whole cycle from sports car (single) to mini van (two kids!) to SUV (kids in high school) and back to sports car (kids in college).

Whew!

I know you'll back in about 18 years, maybe in a 2027 NSX eh?

What are Canada's import laws? Do you not have to pay a rediculous tax for buying in the state? If not then why doesn't everyone buy in the states?

i have to pay 6.1% duties...5% tax... AC tax...and an import fee. Still save massive dollars...I will save aprox 13k on g37x if I goto the USA.

ummm, the TL gets slightly less mpg than the fat gas hog g37. both of which are barely lower than the fat gas hog s2000. fact check much?
