Well, I would love a black G with black leather....but seems you cant get that combo with g37x. They only offer that combo with the G37 Journey

So, i aint sure. Red is probbly my 2nd choice
You said you are getting the car in the US right? The G37x is available in Black Obsidian with graphite/aluminum or graphite/rosewood. So yes, you can get a Black on Black car. I think black over black is best combo on a luxury sedan.

The problem is the current gen TL is amazingly ugly IMO(and I really liked the previous gen). I could never get past the grill, no matter how well it may drive. I would look at a previous gen TL-S. The G37x is a better looking car and the 3.7 V6 is pretty sweet too. Good luck on your search.
+1 I don't know what Acura was thinking when they slapped that grill on. *cringe*

One issue I have with Nissan/Infiniti is that it does not match Honda/Acura when it comes to refinement, built quality, fit and finish...
I totally disagree with this statement. The only quality issue I have had with my '07 G35X is the grille is prone to chipping. As my previous post stated, the '05 TL I owned had many quality issues. So much so I traded it.

Follow your heart young man..........you will love the G37X

Went through S2000 withdrawal in early 07 after I traded in my Suzuka. It was real bad. Found myself frequenting dealer lots couple times a week. Always found a way to point my routes past the dealer. Wife saw my torture and left for Paris for a month. She came home to a crowded garage and a husband who had gotten his "fix".

Don't kid yourself....you'll be back.

ummm, the TL gets slightly less mpg than the fat gas hog g37. both of which are barely lower than the fat gas hog s2000. fact check much?
This is misleading - the 2.2 ap2 motor gets worse gas mileage than the 2.0 motor. I used to get 30 mpg on the highway on long road trips before I was turbocharged.
