They do come in all shapes and sizes. On the way home from a great Fathers Day dinner my wife and I are on RT 407 and get cut off by a CL 55 AMG. The butt then pulls along side and asks if we want to race. My response was something to the effect I would hope that a person who owns a car that is about 4 times the price of mine would have better things to do. With that he punches it and fades into the sunset. Definitely a jerk with much too much money.

Screw 'em all Mac! I might just trade out the space that I have reserved for my wind diffuser and my camera mount for one of *THESE*

And Mac...you're good with all that electrical sheeeiiiit, riiiiiiiiiiiight?? Maybe add a visual implant lead so that the gatlin gun tracks and targets whatever you keep your eyes fixed on

Just let the punks go buggin' THEN!!!

As you can see...I'm a man that sympathizes with your plight ... "Shoot 'em all...and let God sort 'em out!" is an excellent bumper sticker in my book

The bumper sticker reference was just a joke.....mostly

I think you kept your cool really well, Mac. He might have killed you or someone else. Good for you for calling the police on him.

People always get pissed off with the brake check thing.. I always just let off the gas and let it come to a crawl..

I can understand the irritation though.

Experiences like this (and a uniquely interesting trip to the mall tonight where I saw an interesting 3D display) is pushing me to design some sort of graphical display system for the car. I haven't yet decided whether it will be 3D as well, but it will certainly have to wait until the windscreen hype settles down. I have a few other projects to follow the windscreen, so it's down there on the list...tonight may bump it up a few notches

That's the greatest thing I've heard in a long time.

Anyway... I can totally see where Macgyver is coming from and I'm glad that he was not hurt in any way.

Why is it that every idiot in a Civic (or any riced-out import for that matter) thinks that just because you're in an import (and a nice one at that) and you happen to be on the same stretch of road as they are, that you want to race?

My thoughts exactly Mac... though i would probably get in deep shi% with something like that. I've wanted something like it for years. I believe some of the catalogues for general lab equipment have LED strips that scroll a message in 3-4 inch tall letters that you type on a keyboard.. I think you can even store pre programmed messages on the strip and somehow 'quick key' them in.

Get off my A$$
These really are my LOW BEAMS
... of course you could put his plate number on the display just to show him that you have it
Nice Mullet

These would be on top of my list... though i would get myself in deep trouble
