There's an older guy in this area (I'm 45 and he's older than me) that I see fairly often. I've been next to him at lights and I've even said hello to him. He always gives me eat sh!t looks. Now I wave at him because I think it makes him mad.
I'm sure there are people that just buy the car 'cause it's a nice roadster and they were told there aren't many of them. They probably shift every gear at 3500 and stay below 70mph. Then they see some fruitcake honking and waving 'cause he's got the same car. They probably think, jeez, I don't see every guy (gal, must be PC) in a vette or a porshe wave at eachother.
CG, next time you see him at the light, get out and try to shake his hand! That would be worth seeing, as long as you don't have any Priors for stalking jk
Anyway, who cares if they don't share your enthusiasm. Enjoy your car and don't let The Man bring you down.
I don't know what it is with some people. I had the exact same thing happen today. I came up behind another S2K with USC license plate frames just like mine and I was like cool not only another Stooker but a Trojan to boot.
When I pulled along side to give the V sign he didn't even look, he had to have see me come up behind him cause he had a MY02 glass window. Then after I passed him in normal traffic I slowed down to let him catch up and he just reved up and zoomed pass me no look no sign, nothing.
Maybe since he had a MY02 he did think he was better than me.
Happens to me all of the time... as you see more of them on the road, it'll happen more often. These people are the types who pay10K over MSRP without even batting an eye-lash... "Looks good. I'll take it." They don't even know what they're driving.
With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening hours, the Charleston City Council has established a "Women Only" parking lot at the Town Center Mall.
Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for patrons. Attached is the first picture available of this world's first women-only parking lot in West Virginia.
