1. Rattle under a load in second gear. Sounds like an 85 Volkswagon with a rattling heat shield. Appears to be front left of the car?

2. Going about 30-40MPH in 2nd or 3rd gear, let of the gas and there is a "whirring" noise. Sounds like when you cup your hands and blow into them to whistle? Know what I mean?

3. In the past couple days there is a new noise and possible the worst. It sounds like someone opened up the transmission, dropped a 9/16 box wrench in there and bolted it back together. Worst in 1st or 2nd gear and reverse.

All 3 issues will be brought up to the dealer this week, but the car has 1600 miles on it, and was broken in properly, not going over 5500 for the first 6, almost 700 miles. Any better way to explain this to the dealer service people?

I'm a 2001, I didn't think there were TSBs for 2001 ? Sorry I should have mentioned that.

 

Actually, my dealer told me that TSB could apply to earlier built 2001 models. He told me that if this problem still exists, bring the car back before warranty expires. Anyone here been told of the same thing???
