I have a question for anyone who has experienced the sound of the various intakes as well as the stock airbox with the lid off, I tried taking the lid off the stock airbox and drove around for a bit to hear the sound and that is exactly what I want for loudness and tone. Now I am looking at getting the K&N aircharger cause I dont want the AEM style cause of the hydrolock issue and the K&N seems like a good bang for the buck and also has its own airbox/heatsheild. Another member on here dynoed his car before and after with it and net a 4.6 hp gain over stock so its a proven power maker. Now the only thing keeping me from buying it right now is I dont know how noticeable the sound of it is actually gonna be, I want as close as possible to the sound of the stock box with the lid off. Anyone with the K&N aircharger or other similar intake I would like to hear your view or comments on the sound comparison from stock box lid off to K&N or other intake....

Link to a pic of the K&N Aircharger I am reffering too- http://gallery.s2ki.com/imagecatalog/custo...mageview/17326/

Thanks,

Ryan.

This isn't really a technical question so I'm moving it to S2000 Talk.
