Default sources for new engine

Hey guys, so I threw a bearing in my engine, and I'm looking for sources for a new one.

I was quoted $3600 for a used engine with 59k miles on it (comes with 6 month warranty) from worldautoparts.com, he also has a 36k engine for $4300.

Are there any other good sources for a used engine?

Also, I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a jdm engine swap, or if it is not worth the hassle.

Thx in advance.

I feel your pain... I just blew a rod in mine, looking for an engine as well, so far the best deals I've found were on ebay and on a salvage yard website:

Hope this helps!

try hmotorsonline.com, on their site they have a F20C for $3950.00 for motor, tranny, ecu. If you want just the motor you might wanna call them. I know alot of my friends bought from them without any problems.

If you wouldn't mind spending a little bit more, contact Jeff at Hardtopguy.com for pricing on a new motor. It's worth the money (over) the price of a used one.

Well I just went through this same thing. And I had all these issues myself.

Best place to find a new engine.......................right here. I found 3 members with perfectly good used engines all for under 2500. I ended up picking up one for 1600. Installing it tomorrow. Cant wait!!!!!!!!
