Okay guys I hope I can help, and not confuse. Or heck, maybe I am the one confused. I am one of the Internet Managers for the 2nd Largest Honda Dealership in the North American Market. I have sold 2 Spa Yellow S2000's and have yet a 3rd sitting with 7 others in my show room. I can provide vin #'s as proof, or pictures. As for the roof, it is a piece that is ordered VIN# specific from Japan, and takes approximately 120 days for its arrival. And for the Special Edition, not to my knowledge. Best of luck finding a S2000.

 

Well, yes I have/had big plans to attend the Edmonton Motorshow. According to the canadian news this particular spa yellow s2k is suppose to be there. Anyway, I am not ruling out this plan. When I can convince the boss to not send me elsewhere that weekend. BTW, the show runs Mar 2, 3 4

Hey, I'm just telling you guys what I heard. If yellow is for the North American market, how come we don't get white or blue? Seems strange to me.

 

Hey guys.. i've ask at least 5 dealers in the GTA area and they gave me different answers.. the majority say no and only Roadsport Honda said they'r gettin some yellow ones in april.. however spa yellow didn't appear in the 2K1 S2K brochure, only silver,black and red.

The Canadian market only gets black/black, black/red, silver/black, silver/red and red/black for '00 and '01. White, blue and yellow are unavailable colours here. What I understand from the article I quoted is that for a limited time yellow will be available delivered with a hardtop but on special order only. Honda Canada apparently started taking orders for the hardtop from existing owners as far back as Oct '00. (I'm one of them ) Production will not start until late Feb - early Mar '01 for these orders. I'm assuming that this special order is a shortcut for buyers to get the car and the hardtop together without a separate order after purchase. IMHO.

 

I've got a confirmation from honda canada today.. we will get the yellow special edition model with the hard top.. they'r asking for $53K for that.. the hard top is a forced option.

 

That's $5000 for the hard top? I'm sure you can get it for a lower price, but if they throw in the stand as well...

 

i know the hard top doesn't worth $5000 but u know that spa yellow is so limited in #'s, especially in canada.. i don't see a reason why they could charge $53K for the whole thing....
