Default Spark Plug Recall

I just got my sparks plug change. I've searched and got some knowledge about this recall but i couldn't find an answer to this question : does your car "feel" any different when driving it? I think someone said the trottle felt more lively or something like that. Thanks

I think the TSB (never a recall) affected a certain number of 2002's and all 00's and '01s. I don't feel any difference. My butt dyno doesn't get used very much though because my car is a garage queen.

Anytime you change old plugs with new ones, there is a possibility that you'll "feel" something. If you had the plugs changed when the old ones weren't that old, then there really was no change. The new plugs only had a different crush washer and were torqued down more firmly. It wasn't exactly a "miracle" mod.

I felt a big difference when my spark plugs were changed. My engine became very smooth, but after like two weeks it went back to the way it felt before.

I did the TSB (got recall notice) on my 02 at maybe 12,000 miles. No butt dyno difference.

Aggressive gapping and you'll feel a difference.
