Thanks SteveUCI!

A new day brings new info.
It is not much, and as soon as I have more I will post.
My dealer e-mailed this message this morning:

TSB 02-042
"GOT THE INFO. KITS NOT AVAILABLE FROM HONDA YET. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED"

So obviously my "kit" has been ordered!

Update, 10:00AM East Coast.
(Sorry, my dealer types in uppercase and I'm not rekeystroking!)

"IT'S ACTUALLY THE GASKETS CAUSING THE PROBLEM, NOT THE SPARK PLUGS. NO KIT DESCRIPTION OTHER THEN PLUGS AND A NEW LABEL WITH UPDATED TORQUE INFO FOR OWNER'S MANUAL. WE'LL GET ONE AS SOON AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE."

Good morning Matrix,
As an FYI your dealer might not have the kits by then.
My car goes in next Thursday for a few other little things plus some upgrades, think Mugen parts.
What we decided is that they would re-torque the plugs to the original spec as a free service because the TSB makes it clear there is an issue. Then when the kits does get in they will take the car back and do the full complete TSB also as a free service.
This way I will have a bit more confidence that my car will not eat one of the gaskets.

By "GASKET", are we talking about the spark plug crush ring by any chance?

We are doing a bit of reading between the lines this morning because the info is just coming through. But yes, we think the gasket is in reference to the "washer" on the end of the plug, that and the number of ft/lbs. seems to be the issue.
