What are the best spark plugs for the s2000? I am getting a jr filter and new exhaust. Do spark plugs make any significant difference in performance? Thanks

No, unless your plugs are old. Often times, people will say they "feel" a gain, but they usually forget that they are changing out old plugs.

What kind of plugs come installed from the factory? And, has anyone replaced or upgraded their plug wires?

you can't upgrade your plug wires... the F20 has coils on top of the plugs, thus no wires.

I got NGKs as stockers, but for some reason I keep seeing Denso's plugs in the Hyper Rev book.

Stock JDM plugs anyway are NGK Platinum. What plugs are better to give you an extra feel? Try any type of Iradium plugs, like NGK, Denso or performance brands like Trust / GReddy or HKS.

Story about replacing old plugs for exactly same new ones? Yes, it will give you a better feel but that runs out gradually as well. Iradium on the other hand is much different. I'm keeping it simple, do a bit of homework on it and you will realize that it is indeed better.

These days in Japan, most performance tuners go for Iradium plugs first for N/A cars simply because they perform better and yet not compromise with original performance. However for T/A or supercharged vehicles, anyone who is still interested should note that Iradium is useless and Platinum is the only choice.
