Speculation about 2004 S2000 . . . . . .
I was looking for S2000 information in some of my older car mags and I came across a write-up in the March 2003 issue of Road & Track. On page 76 the article discusses factory alterations made to the S2000, known as the S2000 modulo in Japan. Some of the changes to the car include an adjustable suspension with five different settings ranging from softest (1) to firmest (5). Also the car has a restyled front air dam, side skirts, and a tasteful rear wing. Interior enhancements are dashboard panels with a carbon fiber look, a custom aluminum shift knob, and a body color lid for the compartment between the seats. It also has 17 inch wheels.
I wonder if these changes were a foreshadowing for what is to come in the 2004 model? What do you guys think?

Weight isn't the only issue. Rotating mass must also be taken into consideration. The larger the wheel diameter the taller the gear ratio. Also, even if the wheel were the same weight as out 16
