Sheesh, can't any of you read? I've only mentioned this about five times in this thread.

Mike, if nothing else, you are predictable.
And right about this as well.I was wondering how long it was going to take before you posted this!
global warming is caused primarily by C02 emissions. The cat does little or nothing with that. However that nasty egg smell is Nitrogen oxides and to a lesser extent sulfur oxides these cause acid rain...so take your pick hehe.
And speeding especially in a car designed for it tends to make it run more efficiently hence lowering emissions. So if there arent other lives on the road. RUN IT WIDE OPEN!!!

(I love the argument one poster made that because his libertarian candidates don't have a chance to win, he doesn't have to obey the existing laws.)
I don't follow laws because they are just "there". There really are a lot of stupid laws out there. For example:
Places where oral sex is illegal: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia and Washington D.C.
I guess you're lucky since you live in Texas then, huh?
The laws that I do follow, are ones that I follow because I don't want to have negative repurcussions, like if I'm caught speeding I have to pay insane amounts of extra insurance. I do obey speed laws for the most part because if I'm caught I have to pay. I don't cause harm to other people because, well if you look at the libertarian viewpoint, do whatever the hell you want as long as you don't hurt anybody else. I agree with that because I should be able to do what I want with my own body and life. If I want to do some sort of drug in the comfort of my own home, I will. If I want to drive around with a test pipe on my car, I will.
I basically have my own morals and ideals and I follow those. The laws that I do follow just happen to coincide with my beliefs most of the time. For the rest, I either follow them because I don't want to get caught and have to pay money, or I don't follow them at all (like having/giving oral sex even though I'm in Georgia
).I believe in a smaller government, one that does not impose on people's liberties or freedom. If I disagree with how something is done, I'm not going to just follow it blindly - I'm going to question it, and do what I want to do. If I get caught, I pay the price and I know that because I am an adult. I think that clean air laws are a good thing because yes, most people follow them by not removing a cat (many people don't even know what one is or looks like, it's just there). However, I'm not going to impose on someone or yell at them for taking it off. I do not smoke, but I would never get angry at someone for doing it in public. If I don't like it, I turn my head and go somewhere else because they made their own choice and it is their life to do what they want as long as they aren't directly harming someone else's life or freedom.
Alright, let's close this one down as my response just rocked everyone's world. We all know how liberals and hippies like to impose their BS on other people, no sense in dealing with any more!

WHAT!! Oral sex is illegal in Arizona?
If so, I hope the penalty is being subjected to a spanking by the topless dancer of your choice.
My name is AGBLLET and I approve of this message.

Actually the above quote was a long standing approach in the H20 engineering community, but of course it has other applications. The other approach is 'elimination' which would actually be a greater burden to the emitters of pollution by being more costly. There is a third approach - the Chinese (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6271103.stm) or Mexican (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/101035.stm) models of 'look the other way' - but you probably wouldn't be able to enjoy having a 'vert under those scenerios.
So which approach do you like best?

I didn't say that I don't have to obey laws. You paraphrased incorrectly.
