With that attitude, you'll have plenty more. Wouldn't hurt to learn from your f-ups.

Same thing happened to me, spun out on the highway in the rain as I was changing lanes to slow down. 10000 miles, stock tires, rears were bald. Learned my lesson, could've been a LOT worse. i ended up facing backwards and the oncoming traffic must've gotten quite a scare, but they were 1/4 mile behind me, and I was spinning I missed the car to my left by INCHES. Now i monitor tread wear very carefully

I had unexpected bald rears and tried to change lanes (to the left one) in a VERY light rain and got that "drifting/floating" sensation too. I hit the mediun barrier at 65-70 and walked away (God I love this car). Almost a year later, I still have fearful reactions in the rain, no matter how fast I'm going. I'll quote it again, someone here posted it, not me: You check your oil every fillup to save your engine; check your tires at the same time to save your life! To me, that's the long and short of it. In the heat/summer/dry...the 02's are like glue...less from there.
