Does anyone know the specs on it and where can i get one or at least see more of it?

 

Compression ratio is 12:16:1 With 265HP. Not sure what the price is though.

I want to know this also. There isn't much horsepower increase on this engine (about 20hp over JDM spec?) Is it supposed to have little increase in power across the range?

i know it's been blueprinted... anything else?

is it true that you can get a top speed of 207mph from it? i saw it from another forum somewhere

 

Doubt it. Aerodynamics of the car are pretty bad and that's not nearly enough power to push it. The McClaren F1 has a top speed of about 214 mph. A Maranello is probably just over 200.

Definitely impossible with the stock gearing.

My mistake. I believe Road and Track/Mario Andretti redlined it at 214 in their top speed competition but that was probably using shorter gearing. Incidentally, I think Andretti said the speedometer indicated around 230 (a little optimistic). This is all from memory though.

 

either way you're right , no way that s2000 can do 200MPH

 

there is no optimism involved with the f1's speedo - they actually did countless hours of testing to make sure that it is 100% correct - so i've read somewhere.
