Default Spring Spacers - Can you do it yourself?

Hello,

How dificult is it to remove the spring spacers? Does the spring need to come off? Or can you just lift the car, remove from spring, and be done?

Anyone have a PDI checklist I can take a look at? I am wondering if all the items, mainly mechnical, can be done in my garage.

Thanks!

To remove spring spacers jack up the car and release the spring tension. The spacers can then be removed easily.

How can you tell if your spring spacers are still in? I tried feeling for them but only came out with a handfull of grease. I was told it looked like they were still in by the height of my car, and I admit the ride is a bit rough. Anyone know? Thanks

By 'releasing' spring tension, I presume this will be done by just jacking up the car to the point where the wheels are off the ground? Fully realsing spring tension requries a spring compressor which is scary considering there is heavy compression there!

Thanks.

The spring opens enough to pull out the rubber shipping spacers.

Thanks, FSures.

So, are the spacers on the front only?
