I bought my AP1 last year in winter...AP1 2001, 83k miles on it.

Was doing some maintenance while diagnosing starter issues.....a black piece of rubbe fell off...a spacer!!!!

13+ years.....I always suspected the suspension was "off". Glad I found them!

If ya havent, check the back wheels using some jack stands....I had an alignment and tire change, mechanics didn't remove it. I bought it used from a honda dealer, they didn't remove them either.

Just yank them off with your hand. Both my back were on but none in the front.

They put it for when they ship the car, so the suspension isn't being compressed I would assume.

LOL this problem would have been fixed by installing aftermarket suspension....

I got the car at 60,000 miles and then did another 4000 before finding one rear spacer still in. Why would they have removed only 3 spacers before????
After taking out found spacer, fitting good rubber, and an getting alignment the difference in ride and handling was dramatic.

I had better get my AP1 springs checked up asap to see if those spacers are there. And if they are, OFF they will come!
