If I order a bolt on dual, do you have to take it to a shop for install?.....

It is a very easy and straight forward process to de-install your stock exhaust and then install the 3-piece bolt on Spugen exhaust. It just takes longer if you don't have access to a lift or a pit. You can simply do this by putting the rear of your car on jack stands.

Living in a state where they salt the roads in the winter, I was wondering what material the piping and muffler is made out of? Also, would the weld-on kit be something that a local exhaust shop could install?

The plumbing are aluminized inside and out and have 15 year warranty while the mufflers are stainless and have a lifetime warranty. Also, upon receipt of the kit, the piping are coated with a high temp silver coating over the aluminized piping.

Hmmm......thanks for the help, I may need to order this for yet another winter project (snow sucks!)....so when you uninstall the factory exhaust does it need to be cut, or can you leave it so it "could" be re-installed later? Any special tools/parts needed?

All you have to do is remove the lower rear tie bar, unbolt the stock exhaust and drop it to the floor. No cutting required and reinstallation is in the reverse order.

Thanks,

Duc
