Just curious I have been thinking about getting a resonated testpipe, have a spugen ti exhaust. I wanted to know if anyone is using this setup how did it change the tone of the exhaust, did it quiet it or make it louder? Recommend it?

i had megan TP and single spugen Ti exhaust. very loud.

I had the same setup and got rif of the Spugen after 4 days...I read threads telling people its loud but nothing can really preapre you for how loud it is until you own one. The exhaust with the Megan test pipe is LOUD...


that being said it sounded freakin awesome.

i posted a vid of it here, might help you get an idea of what it sounds like, I still need to do one of it at full throttle to 9k redline

 

i have that setup (spugen TI with megan test pipe). i had to take out my test pipe for a stock cat for a while... the diffrence it pretty big. sounds the same under 4k but after that its a whole nother world. sounds like a street bike or something.

 

the dual ti exhaust is pretty loud, I couldn't stand it at first but I'm getting use to it. The sound above 6k makes it all worth it....that and it looks awesome. Well I don't want to make the exhaust any louder but I can't get enough of that "burble" race tone in the higher rpms. Was thinking about switching to an HKS dual but I can't bring myself to pay for something that loses power.
