if this works - this has gotta be a sticky considering how many threads there about this exact issue!

Yeah, it was striking how many people were having the problem despite MAP whacking and gas tank fuel injection cleaner treatments.

I can tell you, it's super frustrating to not have a "clean" running car.

I just took off my throttle body and cleaned the WHOLE thing, acceleration is smoother and hesitation is gone, but i've still got a rough idle. so this isn't the end all fix for that, as you know by reading the other thread.

Yup, it's just a "rule out" when everything else has been checked and replaced. And since it's so easy, I'd do this as one of the first things to take it off the table.

Hey, I tried this and my problem still occurs. Good thinking though, and thanks for the information.

Interesting.

I have an issue where i can not get on or off the throttle smoothly and have some hesitation at low RPM (it's not my driving ). If I'm coasting at high rpm it's impossible to ease back onto the throttle. Or if i am on the throttle it's very hard to let off smoothly.

Air filter is clean
Plugs are fine
Coil packs are fine
Throttle cable is fine
Whacked my map
Tried someone else's map
My TPS tests out ok.
I did clean my TB but neglected this area.
Fuel system cleaner helped
My next step was to pull the injectors and have them tested\serviced.

I'm going to remove my TB again and clean the crap out of that area.
