I know and all owners and enthusiasts know the S is a "mid engine" car. I don't see their argument there. The pros in the S outweigh the pros in the MR2. At least we all feel that way

That would about sum up the level of "I beat this car on this road with my car" stuff, wouldn't it? Its just human nature - if you're not like me, I either aspire to be like you, or I despise you. And in many cases, I suspect its both.
