Everytime I roll down my driver's side window, it squeaks really loudly. Its coming from the front of the window, where it goes into the little frame thats part of the door. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and what the remedy was?

Search turned up very little.

Shin-etsu grease on all seals and rubber. It's part of the maintenance schedule.

 

I guess I should mention that I used a rubber cleaner/protector product on the seals today as well to try and fix it, but it came back. Perhaps I should just suck it up and pay the $30 that the local dealer wants for the Shin-etsu grease.

 

Cleaner and grease are not the same.
