Default Squeaky noises driving me nuts!

First it was the squeaky(squiky originally) noise from the back of my shoulder, after some padding of between the seatbelt and the seat, the rubbing noise seemed gone.

Now there's a squeaky noise right under the steering wheel. Sounds like loose plastic rubbing against each other. Also a little noise right above my head when the top is up. Took it to the dealer, yet they said they can't find the source.

Love driving the car, but all the noises are starting to drive me nuts. Thanks for all help...

I have MY04 and here are the rattles and squeaky noises I have located:

Airbag/Horn - Dealer replaced, but rattle still there
Driver Seatbelt squeak rubbing against leather
Passenger side convertible latch rattle

I have only isolated the problems spots, but have not addressed any of my noises. I have another rattle coming from the rear, I think it's the convertible top flapping against the glass window on the outside, but I have not confirmed this as of yet.

Hope you find solutions to these or your specific noises. I will try some personal remedies prior to taking it to the Dealer. I hope this helps. Good luck.

w/SilverRedBlack.

Just be happy the car's fit and finish is as tight as it is. IN my 91 miata, the ENTIRE car would squeak / rattle whenever we hit a pot hole or those stupid little / multiple speed bumps near stop signs.

The S2000 is EONS ahead of that.

The easiest fix that would take ALL of the rattles out..............EAR PLUGS...

Check your interior mirror, had a nasty rattle in mine thought it was coming from the dashboard, turns out the mirror is one of the most common faults, they replaced it under warranty no problem.

i have this noise now, behind the seat rubs against the rear panel..i understand to eliminate all i have to do is reduce seat travel back or seat rake...but i am wondering to take full advantage of room i might have to put some smooth tape where the surfaces meet? anyone have this squeek and eliminate it without moving the seat rake?
