Wondering what this noise could be...mechanically illiterate here. I'm figuring it would be a shock replacement but this is the area of my car that was repaired in the crash and so i'm figuring those parts would have been already replaced. i have 15k on the speedometer and i've put on about 2k since the accident and repairs? any help. the sound is like an old bed mattress squeeking...like the springs are old.

interior or exterior rattle?

In other words, interior trim or mechanical?

Sorry this is three weeks late, but I'm having what sounds like your squeak fixed on my S2K, as we speak. My dealer's mechanic (who's been great thus far) isolated the noise to the rear stabilizer strut/bushing/mounting dealie-bob (technical term). They're replacing the whole schmeeer (well, not the stabilizer itself). I've also had him fix two similar-sounding, but apparently unrelated squeaks that were more towards the front of the car. They both turned out to be loose heat shields. One was the heat shield next to the battery, and the other is on the driver's side, down below (not sure what it shields, actually). He added some lock-tights to hopefully keep it from recurring. Michigan roads, being among the worst in the civilized world, seem to be the culprit, but I can't say I'm happy with Honda on the build quality as far as this crap is concerned. I hope this helps.
