Traction Control? What is this Traction Control of which you speak? (Ich habe eine 2000 S2000 AP1, the man's version of the S2000 before CDV, VSA, and all the creeping sissification)
A wise "man" considers his audience before speaking.
A wise man also recognizes humor.

Ah yes, the AP1. The one with softer lines, smaller wheels, and narrower tires. The hair dressers s2000, if you will. Cute.
...and faster times. LOL, tho!

Curious as to why you have the "sissy" AP2 wheels on your year 2000 "man's version"?.....
Actually, the same reason that it has suspension mods that you can't see - to tame the trailing throttle oversteer that was causing me to occasionally become a left seat passenger at BIR.

Understand.... But even though the trailing throttle oversteer has been tamed on AP2s, it's still there--that's one reason I believe VSA is great for street driving.....

I don't know, man. The ap1s I test drove were all softer and slower. It's not like I was on a race track to time it but your assertions counter my experience. Perhaps the years are unkind to our cars.

I can totally understand the peace of mind that comes with VSA and the ability to turn it off. But dare I say that it isn't a necessity? You shouldn't discount the 04-05 AP2s that aren't as wild as the AP1, but don't have VSA.

When I made my purchase decision I didn't consider VSA. Just another data point to consider.
