At one point in my ungodly boring drive home from work everyday I get on a road where cruise control is quite useful.

But the cruise control is never cooperative. Sometimes it will work, other times it won't. I cannot figure out what is causing this. Top up, top down, 5th gear, 6th gear, 55mph, 80mph, sometimes it will just not turn on.

Anyone have this issue?

 

It sounds like you may have some switch or relay issues. You may want to have this thread moved over to the Electronis forum where you might have better luck getting helpful replies.
