Isn't this the same guy who swiped like $400 of w1ngman's money, too?
Oh, and Barry, a cleared personal check doesn't save you the way many people think it does, unfortunately. For example, if you sent me a check for $100, I deposit it and the bank tells me it clears a few days later. The check "clearing" actually only means there was sufficient funds in the your bank to cover the cost, but it doesn't necessarily mean things are over. I believe up to 90 days after the check has been cashed yoou can STILL put a "stop" on the check and guess who's account it comes out of? Yep, mine...even though it "celared", I still get screwed. It's not a big deal if you're the one sending the check, but it can be a big deal to people like me who would like to accept personal checks for a business transaction but can't because of this type of crap.
