I am fairly confident that all the information needed to steal one of these cars is out there in the open, and known by more than just a handful of folks. (security through obscurity has been shown to fail more times than I care to think about).

I would be more interested in knowing more about how these cars get taken so that I can take appropriate measures to protect my car from those threats.....
exactly my thinking

Damn. You're in Georgia so with gas at $3 a gallon that must be a pretty big chunk of change!!!

My 2002 s was stolen, when I got it back the ignition was busted, and the funny thing was that I found a wire on the floor that was bent in a funny shape and both ends where stripped. It looks like the thief bridged some terminals in my car and drove off. But I cant seem to figure out how he did it. Because now that the ignition is broken the key dose not work anymore and I cant start the car at all. so Ive been pushing it every time I want to get it out of my gargae, it totaly sucks,
the new ignition set is around $400 bucks too.
