Is your steering box noisy?

Last night I was parking my car (inside my garage, without exterior noise) and I was really surprised when turning quickly the steering wheel with the car stopped I heard noises from my steering box

Have you ever notice the same?

Sorry. Never has happen to me. If it happens again or if you can learn to duplicate the problem take it to the dealer for them to check out.

 

The dealer says it is normal, he says that all s2000 that he has tried makes the same steering box sound... but I would swear that I hadn't hear it before

About what kind of noise is really difficult to describe but it seems not normal, is like you can hear how the steering's zipper moving through the steering's toothed wheels

Anyway, the question is if you can hear anything strange when you move quickly your steering wheel

I will print this and show it to the dealer
