Does anyone know if the service for the tranny gring fix required disconnecting the steering system. Since I got my car back my steering wheel is off center and I wanted to know if the service caused this.

Yes, they had to disconnect the steering. It took me three trips back to the dealer to get it alligned to my satisfaction.

Thanks a lot RxS2K. I really appreciate the info. I guess I need to buy the manual so I can answer this stuff myself.

I seem to remember that Rick Hesel is proficient in removing/replacing the steering wheel; perhaps he could give you some pointers.
